Why it makes the list

The St Enodoc is a delightful, contemporary take on a traditional seaside hotel in chic Rock. This coastal retreat is flooded with light, punctuated with flairs of colour and design. The St Enodoc is a great example of Cornish style, relaxed, elegant interiors embracing a natural ocean-inspired colour palette which helps to bring the outdoors in. With a welcoming brasserie, fine dining restaurant, an outdoor pool, treatment rooms, and views to die for, it’s an idyllic base from which to explore glorious North Cornwall.

The St Enodoc is surrounded by some of Cornwall's best beaches including Rock beach, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. A regular foot ferry runs from Rock to Padstow, a fantastic option avoiding Padstow’s gridlocked car parks in high season. The Coastal Path offers incredible walks alongside some of Cornwall’s most exquisite coastline. The hotel itself, in its elevated position, commands sweeping views of the Camel Estuary and the terrace offers a particularly special place to kick back and breathe in the Cornish Sea breeze.
